Teacher's Tool Curriculum for School Age Children

Karen Thompson, or "KT", is the author of the Teacher's Tool Curriculum Series and the School Age book is the second of the series.  Like the Preschool book, it too has a menu style format, but terminology changes for the older children in that circle time becomes "Newsroom" and children get assignments as either reporters or detectives and work in "Investigation Stations" instead of "learning centers".  It is a great way to foster literacy in school age children!  Themes are closely aligned with the Preschool and Infant Toddler books for programs serving all age groups.   "KT" will soon celebrate 40 years' experience in early care and education, specializing in training and curriculum development and hopes you enjoy this curriculum.
